30 Days to Better: Free Medical Exercise Program

Improving life and health for those who want to manage chronic conditions, and those who want to avoid them. 

Developed by The Life Energy Foundation in Partnership with Teri Mosey, PhD

When you’re dealing with a chronic condition, life can seem overwhelming. We get it. That’s why we developed the “30 Days to Better” (online) program. Providing helpful, hopeful, and actionable steps to reduce stress, this program works to soothe your nervous system and provide clarity to your mind and body—all in as little as 15 minutes a day!

How it works:
You’ll receive daily actions that offer evidence-based ways to work on calming the nervous system, releasing tight tissue, and strengthening your muscles, all of which act holistically on the body to reduce pain and increase energy and function. You’ll not just feel better, you’ll have fun, too!

Floor 2 Feet: A Medical Exercise Pilot Program

Make yourself more fall-resilient, improve your quality of life, and have some fun along the way!

Ever dropped something on the floor and dreaded that you have to get down on the floor to get it?
Have you missed out on activities with your grandchildren because of your physical limitations?

It’s no secret that aging takes its toll on our physical abilities, and being sedentary adds to that. Studies show that the ability to get down and up off the floor is directly linked to longevity—not just in years, but in increased function, too.

At The Life Energy Foundation, we’ve developed a program specifically geared to address this. We call it our Floor 2 Feet program.

Program Goals:
Reduce falls and improve function and independence
Build overall strength
Reduce anxiety and build confidence so you can take part in activities you enjoy

Why you should participate:
To be able to safely bend down and get up off the floor
To reduce your risk of falling
To increase daily living functionality
To get you participating in activities you love but may have held back

What you will receive:
Initial assessments and orientation
10 weekly classes led by certified instructors at Launch Physical Therapy
Educational material on sleep, mindfulness, age-appropriate nutrition, and more
Final report on your progress through the program, with recommendations on next steps to ensure continued success
Wearable that tracks your weekly activity, sleep, and heart rate, along with assistance in setting it up. This will be linked to your profile to track activity and heart rate for use in designing and improving this program. ($100 value – you get to keep!)
Workbook with all exercises and handouts covered in the 10 weeks for reference after the program ends
Exclusive access to Floor 2 Feet YouTube Channel with videos of exercises and added educational content

Class Outline:
10-15 min Open Share & Education
10-12 min warm-up
25 min Exercises
15 min cool down and stretch
5 min. homework, Q&A

Physician approval may be required.

Regarding health insurance coverage: At this time, we are working diligently, on your behalf, with insurance providers and corporate wellness/HR departments to secure coverage or partial funding for our programs. It should be covered by FSA & HSA, please check with your provider.
